The LookOut Series of pre-packaged vandal-resistant cameras is designed for extreme environments where a typical camera and housing will not suffice. The housing is constructed of heavy-duty cast aluminum with a high-impact polycarbonate bubble. Tamper-resistant security hardware protects the camera and lens assembly inside. Two camera options are available within this LookOut Series offering. Both NTSC cameras feature a high-resolution (480 TVL) 1/3-inch color CCD imager, with the choice of highresolution color camera or high-resolution color camera with Night-Saver available. Night-Saver models automatically switch to monochrome mode and enhance images under extreme low light conditions. All models feature a 4 -9 mm varifocal lens. Outdoor models are rated IP66 and NEMA4 to protect the LookOut camera from the elements, and include thermostatically-controlled heaters that allow for operation in extreme temperature conditions from –40° to 50°C (-40° to 122°F). Power can be supplied using 24 VAC or 12 VDC; the camera automatically detects the type of power being used. Installation is made easier by a service video connector that provides the installer with easy access to the video from the camera. Wall and pendant mounting kits are available.
